No matter how perfect or beautiful your furniture is, the fact of the matter is that at some point you're probably gonna smash your fucking toe on it.

And you’re gonna smash it hard. Hell, you might even break your toe.

But if you do, does that mean the furniture isn’t perfect anymore? Does that mean you should start hating it? Should you just throw it in the garbage?

No matter how perfect or how beautiful something or someone seems, they always create effects, or have consequences that are less-than-perfect.

Just like smashing your toe against furniture.

Or just like my ex-girlfriend.

In our opinion, it’s actually a lot more interesting to be imperfect altogether. In fact, it’s downright better to be imperfect – to get down and dirty…MY GOD you have a dirty mind – we didn’t mean that kind of dirty or rough. But we’ll save that for another blog post 😉

What we do mean, is that having rough edges is what makes a person real. And realness is something very special, because it seems as though it’s becoming harder and harder to find these days as people only aim to show their ‘perfect selves’ to the world.

Now, let’s be clear on one thing: we’re not saying that instead of showing your ‘perfect self’ to the world, you should instead post a photo on Instagram of you lying on the bathroom floor with food poisoning. What we are saying is that your imperfections should be celebrated.

Hell, there should be an absence of perfection in your life – like a huge gaping hole between what you are and what you might be. And that’s what makes things interesting, because your rough edges drive you to fill that hole. In other words, life would be boring as hell if there wasn’t anything to hope for, to improve, or to get better at. It’s the possibilities that make things exciting.

And that’s the inspiration behind our new mini-collection: THE WILD ONES Capsule. Playing in to the rough, imperfect and worn theme, we’ve incorporated elements like distressed denim, army green, and worn leather washes. By looking at one of the jackets from this capsule, you might think that it’s probably seen more weird shit than the janitor at Berghain.

But the thing is, if you’ve seen some shit and gotten dirty on the road of life, then chances are you’ll probably have some pretty awesome stories to tell. That’s what makes life worth living, and that’s always what makes this mini-collection / capsule special.

The bottom line is this: don’t be afraid to be imperfect – a TON of people will actually love you for it. At the same time, don’t be surprised if other people don’t. That’s OK.

Because after all, it’s better to be someone’s shot of tequila than everyone’s cup of tea.

Here are some looks from the new THE WILD ONE Capsule…
