Good people bring out the good in people.

That’s exactly the case with #teamtigha member Bryson Tiller. Upon first meeting him a few months ago as he visited us at our store in Cologne, we couldn’t help but think that he was just a really good guy – plain and simple. In all honesty, it was extremely refreshing to meet a guy who’s reached such an amazing level of worldwide success, and yet remained so incredibly humble and kind.

And the thing is, his life story makes us like him even more. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Bryson was raised by his grandmother; who’s his main parental figure to this day. He always knew he wanted to be a songwriter/artist, so he left his entire life behind and moved to Miami in order to pursue his dream.

It was there that he wrote and recorded his first album ‘Don’t’ with a $600 budget. That’s right – $600. And after years as a struggling, broke artist, Bryson’s real breakthrough came when none other than Drake heard the album, and almost immediately offered him a record deal.

The crazy thing is that when Bryson got the call from Drake, he was working at a shitty pizza shop and sleeping in his car every night.

The pizza shop/sleeping in the car days are long gone. Now he’s busy making hit singles with people like DJ Khaled and Rihanna.
