Greg Pidcock – London, England

Greg, Greg, Greg…where do we even start… In short, Greg is truly a 21st century man. Although he was born in Canada, Greg’s spent his life living in a variety of different locations; namely Peru, India, Ecuador, Thailand, Argentina, and currently England. He’s now the DJ and Music Director at sketch; one of London’s best/poshest dining and nightlife spots. Not to mention, it’s also the ‘Most Instagrammed’ location in the entire city. We caught up with him in a sex club (it’s a long story) in Soho to ask him – who are you? Here’s what he had to say…

The place I come from? I actually have no idea…My Mom’s from LA and my Dad’s from Leicester, so I grew up moving around a lot. I spent time in Canada, Peru, India, Ecuador, Thailand, Argentina, and the US. Apart from what I do at sketch, I also organize parties/events and make art. The very best part about doing all of that is how rewarding it all is – namely, when I’m in the zone, feeling great, and making other people happy. Making music and art can be tough at times, but when other people enjoy what you make and get something out of it, then it ends up all being worth it.

FIT IS EVERYTHING

I try not to spend too much time thinking about what other people think of me. However, I’d hope other people see me as having a strong will and a good vibe. And maybe even a bit silly. Oh yeah and definitely sarcastic….very, very sarcastic. One of the wisest things I’ve ever heard is this: If someone criticizes or compliments you, your reaction to it or the way it makes you feel is totally dependent upon how you view yourself – rather than on the actual criticism or compliment itself.

Personal style is about connecting with yourself. It’s about wearing clothes that make you feel good and make sense in view of the particular life you lead. In my case, it just so happens that tigha fits that criteria…Personal style is about connecting with yourself. It’s about wearing clothes that make you feel good and make sense in view of the particular life you lead.
